The Smart Box 2000 microterminal brings a new level of simplicity and efficiency to your check out point of sale. It has the functionality of a POS system, but without the bulk and at a fraction of the cost.
Its very complete and embedded application specifically designed by Bematech, allows for total control of a point of sale due to a user-friendly interface that reduces employee training time. Besides a wide selection of managerial reports can be generated by the application.
Several communication interfaces allow for an easy integration with peripherals such as mini-printers, barcode readers and customer displays.
Finally, several Smart Box 2000s can be networked and remotely integrated to the Bematech back office application (via the freely supplied Bematech Application Programming Interface ActiveX – Aruak), creating a seamless and complete store management system.

• Powerful and user-friendly embedded software with functions such as registering (9500 items), training mode, customizable users access control, reporting (database for control of 400 customers accounts, vendors individual commissioning, stock control, financial reports, profit report, inventory report, products list) and operation options (simultaneous sales, off-line sales, discount, refund, etc).
• RS-485 or Ethernet LAN interface allowing for on-line connectivity and information exchange within a network of SB 2000s and with a remote back office system (freely supplied by Bematech). Also with an alternative back office system.
• Master-slave architecture enabling a retail network to operate without the need of a PC.
• Four serial interfaces available for easy integration with peripherals, scales, barcode reader and all the range of Bematech mini-printers (stand alone or multiple printers connections).
• One serial interface RJ-45 for customer display connectivity.
• Keyboard with 43 alphanumeric keys.
